“I realize that the more people that you can befriend that are going in the same direction as you … you move faster together.”

Respected and adored Sioux Falls-based photographer, business owner, and photography mentor/coach Ashley Buckley captivates Rachel and Tracy in this energetic episode with her inclusive and inspiring business (and life!) model. As an entrepreneur, wife, mother of four, business owner and creative, Ashley talks about what “lights her up” and how she has learned that there is enough success for everyone. Rachel asks Ashley how her past life as a celebrated college volleyball player and coach informs her “community over competition” mindset, while Tracy and Ashley discuss how it is possible to have many passions and gifts, and love our kids well all at the same time. And, of course, it wouldn’t be an episode of Isn’t it Lovely? without multiples references to the Enneagram.

  • Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV Version): Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
